We recently completed a six week theme called "Take a Hike." We talked about prayer during this theme. On the last Sunday everyone took a packet home to make their own s'more.
The label on the outside said, "The most fun thing you can do after a hike is to make a s'more. As you eat your treats, talk about prayer. The marshmallow reminds us that when we talk to God we can feel lighter (like the marshmallow). The chocolate reminds us to praise God because His love is so sweet. The cracker reminds us that we all "crack up" from time to time and make mistakes. We need to confess those mistakes."
What have you used as a way to get families talking about faith matters at home?
