Have kids bust out their Bibles and read about the dimensions of Goliath. Then, using rolls of white table covering or another form of paper, have them draw a giant Goliath using markers, fabric scraps, foil for his armor, etc. When complete, tape him to the wall. Now the real fun begins, grab a pair of old panty hose with the trunk part cut off and have two kids hold each end. Using one of the giant campfire marshmallows, launch the marshmallow at your Goliath's head and see who comes closest to hitting it. A great way for kids to see that David didn't win this victory, but God. How about you? What sorts of hands-on ways have you taught the Bible creatively?
