I consider it a real win when I am able to place tools in the hands of parents that allow them to lead. One of my favorite times of year to do this is the Advent season. Each family receives:
Below is a PDF file that you can print off, place the linked items in the bag, and place a Christmas resource in the hands of your parents.
Here are the links to the objects we are using this year. (This year, they ALL came from Oriental Trading)
Day 1 Adam & Eve Stickers
Day 2 Hourglass_ & Hershey Kisses
Day 3 Heart Sucker
Day 4 Jesus is Born Ornament
Day 5 Magic Color Scratch Shepherds
Day 6 Peace on Earth Bracelet
Day 7 Bookmarks
Each family receives:
- 1 bag (we've used boxes in the past too)
- 1 card per day with the devotion (7 total)
- 1 object per day that goes with the devotional. Sometimes it's a craft or activity that the family can do together.
