I've decided that if I could learn to focus on JUST ONE HIGHLIGHT from my ministry in the past week and, it could keep me going and encourage me to remember that most ministry "successes" I experience will be in those ONE MINUTE, nothing special, reactions, conversations, or interactions I have with a student.
So here it is. My favorite moment was seeing this picture (below) come from one of our small group leaders. We've been doing a two week series with our pre-teens called "Selfie." In that study, kids are learning that their futures do not belong to them. What a shift in our thinking. So very different than our "Have It Your Way" world loudly shouts at them daily.
I absolutely loved this ministry moment last week. It will keep me going for a long time. Why? Because if this gal can live as though she believes this with all of her being, it will change her life. Literally. For generations to come.
That will keep me going just a little longer!
How about you? What was your favorite ministry moment last week?
