Trying to ensure that I am able to connect with all of our KidMin Team weekly is often a difficult challenge. My team is made up of auditory, visual, and active learners. I have learned that I need to vary the way in which I communicate with them in order to ensure the best results (that they actually engage!). I started using video clips to communicate with our KidMin Team a while back.
I don't spend time editing. I want them to see the real me as if we were in a conversation.
I try to keep the time under two minutes. If I keep it short, they will listen.
I give small bits of info. If I overwhelm them with lots of information they will tune me out.
What has been your best, most effective form of communication with your Children's Ministry Team? I'd love to hear your ideas!
