A warrior spirit: a warrior is one who faces battles boldly. We are in a battle for the lives of families. Plan your ministry remembering that you’re a warrior. A warrior does not turn from a battle, but rather, runs headlong into it. I’ve begun praying lately that God would give me a bold spirit as I lead in ministry. I think by nature I'm a coward but when I think about my call and the One who has called me, I feel empowered to live like a warrior.
A relentless passion for victory. Galatians 6:9 reminds us to “let us not become weary in doing good”. There are days when this is really tough. When I’ve worked on developing a ministry that appears to be going nowhere, when I’ve poured into the life of someone who disappoints me, or when I’m just plain tired and want to give up I must remember that my passion for victory must remain relentless.
A reputation that strikes fear in potential adversaries. I don’t need to remind you that we’re in a battle. Our adversary does not stop. I want to live my life and lead my ministry in a way that strikes fear into my adversary.
My marching orders have been given by One that is much greater than I. May He give me the spirit of a warrior, a relentless passion for victory, and an ability to strike fear with my adversary? There is much at stake.
